The Northwest Community Church Christmas Program!
"Christmas in a Box", the NCC Christmas program was a great success. Thanks to Marla King(my mother-in-law) and Angie Green(my wife) for all of the work they put into the program, and of course the kids put in a lot of work as well!

Back from Dallas
Angie and I are back from attending our 3rd Advantage Conferences Mindset Mentoring Conference. Ive been trying to think of what to write about and having a hard time figuring out where to start. Like the previous conferences, it perfectly blended entrepreneurial training with biblical truth. Nowhere else have I experienced this kind of teaching.
I will post more in the future as I process it all, but One of the things that really stuck with me was when Kevin Weaver talked about learning to tell the difference between opportunity and distraction. I often find myself saying "yes" to everything, and becoming overcommitted. Many times I have been chasing what I thought were opportunities, but were only leading me away from my purpose.
Speaking of purpose, what is yours? Are you an "On purpose Person"? I highly recommend the little book "The On Purpose Person" by Keving Mccarthy, and of course Tim Darnell's book "Slay Your Giant". Email me at kurt@advantageconferences.com and I can get you these great books, and give you any advice I can.

Save Clydehurst!
Clydehurst Christian Ranch was a camp I went to with my youth group in high school. It was a great place to have fun, and to really get great biblical teaching. It was a place where people gave their lives to Christ. It was a place where decisions to become missionaries or pastors occured. Not any more.
“The summer of 2007 may be the last summer of Clydehurst as we know it!” (Wayne Brownson,39 year director of Clydehurst)

Pictures from Iraq
My Friend Ken Stenka is currently serving our country in Iraq. A HUGE thank you to all who are serving and Fighting for us! GOD BLESS YOU, We are praying for you!
He emailed us some neat pictures, so I wanted to share them. There are 2 sets of pictures, Here are his emails:
Hello to ALL!
I have been taking a few photos and thought that I might share a few with all that care. If not then delete works nicely also. I thought it may give you some idea of the conditions over here. Then again maybe not as most of them have my ugly mug in them. I haven’t had much luck sending them in the past but I will continue trying. Their not very descriptive but I do what I can and I hope you enjoy them. Thinking of you all and praying that we are home in December. Thanks for all the letters and for staying in touch!
Hello again
After sending pictures the other day, I had the privilege of visiting one of Saddam’s palaces. It’s located just a stone throw away from Baghdad and it was very impressive. I have never seen a bigger chandelier in my life. All the marble must keep the place cool because it was hot out and didn’t notice it inside at all. It is surrounded by water and has several smaller little islands with, what looks to be other living or smaller stone buildings. The guys that are with me are from my company and we got pretty lucky to get in that day. The military does use the facilities but I’m unable to say for what. The whole experience was quite overwhelming and very impressive. I’m sorry the pictures really don’t do it much justice but once again I really just want to share. Have a great week!!

A new member of the Family!
After we got home from the Mindset Mentoring Conference in Dallas(go to my other blog sowinggenerously.blogspot.com to hear about that awesome event) we picked up our children from the Jerrods. We also brought home our new kitten, Squirt! The kids(and mom) have wanted a kitten for a long time, and I finally caved:) A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE GROFFS, WHITNEY'S AND THE JERRODS FOR TAKING CARE OF THE KIDS! We will return the favor!
